Pantone offers paper guides and specifiers for portable use. These products offer a comprehensive range of industry-relevant colors. Pantone works with Clarient to offer local color matching and technical support (matchpantonecolors.com) and with X-rite to help ensure color accuracy in supplies.
The colors are arranged chromatically and each color is numerically referenced and named for usability. These products are portable making them ideal for sample shopping, client or vendor meetings and on-site reviews.
They offer a color-on-paper fan deck and a color specifier in a larger format. The color specifier offers over 1,900 color chips and has six larger–sized tear–out chips for each color, which are great for attaching to design sketches. These products are offered separately or in a package with a bonus digital color guide. Replacement color chips are also available.
