Color of the Year

This category is for all of Pantone's Color of the Year. Since 1999 members of Pantone Inc. have chosen a color for the following year.

As the "the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards" the company puts out a press release at the end of the year announcing the color for the following year with an explanation of the reasons the color will be representative of the next year.
